Elektra Mini Verticale Semi-Automatic Domestic Coffee Machine

The Belle Epoque is the tall copper machine you have seen in a hotel lobby and not forgotten. The Mini Verticale is that machine, scaled to sit on a counter.

The body is copper throughout, with a brass dome and base. Inside is a large brass boiler run by a professional pressure switch and thermostat, so it holds temperature the way a commercial machine does rather than a household one. It pulls two espressos at a time.

The cup compartment is built into the body, the same way it is on Elektra's professional models, and the top doubles as a cup warmer — so the cups are ready and warm without a second appliance taking up space. A three-way solenoid valve drops group pressure the moment extraction stops, so the portafilter releases cleanly. The drip tray lifts out for cleaning and the water reservoir is removable.

It draws 800 watts on a standard socket and needs no plumbing, which puts it in rooms a commercial machine could never reach.

Before you order

It stands 690 mm tall. Measure the clearance under your overhead shelf before it arrives — the height is the point of the machine, and it is not negotiable.
